Hi, I’m Tim! I’m in my 50s, and I live in Suffolk, between Sudbury and Colchester.

As a Humanist celebrant, I love working with new people to help them create a ceremony for an important rite of passage that is rich, meaningful and memorable.

My main job is teaching and for many years people have remarked on the strength and quality of my presentation and speaking, whether to small groups of students or meetings of 300 people.

I do lots of other things. In my precious spare time, I enjoy reading – so much so that I run a men’s book group. I’m also a keen cyclist, runner (including participating in a winter cross-country league), and a cricket player for my not-too-serious pub cricket team. I’m passionate about travelling and in the last five years have enthusiastically adopted house swapping/home exchanging.

Celebrant Services

Tim is a Humanist Celebrant, conducting stand-out services to be long remembered by those involved.

Weddings

A humanist wedding in the UK is a non-religious ceremony that celebrates love and commitment. Focusing on human values, it’s personalised, inclusive, and conducted by a humanist celebrant, reflecting the couple’s beliefs and values.

Namings

A humanist naming ceremony is a non-religious celebration of a child’s arrival, welcoming them into the family and community. It emphasises values, love, and individuality.

It was a lovely ceremony that you conducted. I’m a huge fan of humanist weddings -personal and relaxed!
